Many small but crucial details make the PistenBully 100 Trail reliable when long-distance snowmobile trails have to be prepared. The supporting axles have been modified to suit this tough treatment, with solid rubber tires on the track and tensioning wheels, and steel tracks.

The spacious cab is designed for comfort. In the large interior and outside mirrors, the rear-end attachments can be kept under observation all the time. At night, the lighting system maintains visibility and makes the work safer. A strong tree-branch deflector is standard on the cab to protect it and its occupants from violent contact with their surroundings.
